Securing the Borders
The entry of illegal aliens, weapons, drugs and human trafficking is annihilating the honor and integrity of America. The exploding epidemic of fentanyl must be stopped! The DEA just released a report that 7 out of every 10 counterfeit pills they confiscated had lethal doses of fentanyl. The national demographic for overdose is 11 to 14 years old.

Parental Rights
Parents are the best advocates for the needs of their children. Children are all unique and different.You can not use a cookie cutter to address the needs of children. The State makes for a very poor parent.

Citizens Over Lobbyists
Special interest groups are taking control of our government. The government itself is becoming a special interest group. I believe government should serve the citizens not the citizens serving government. Lobbyist control a lot of money but the citizens still control the vote.

Election Integrity
The election process should be above reproach. The process should satisfy all parties involved. There are weaknesses in the system, that need to be addressed to minimize contention among the voters. Paper ballots, clean voter rolls, single day elections, hand counting ballots are some of the things to be considered.

Stopping Tax Increases
Governments' only solution to a problem is spending more money, and they are spending faster than ever. In 2020, the Missouri budget was 35 Billion, and in just 4 years the budget jumped 45% to 51 Billion. I am sure we can find places that can be reduced or eliminated. Just like computers they need to be cleaned up to work properly.

It all begins with an idea—an idea to serve my state and my district. My wife Elisa and I have been working happily side-by-side as small business owners for over 30 years. In our last twelve years, we were your classic mom-and-pop donut shop. We hosted birthdays, celebrations of life, weddings, community awareness campaigns, and local charity events. Serving the community was a very rewarding time.
The time came to retire and sell the donut shop. The idea of retiring from the donut game was very appealing, but I still wanted to continue to serve my community. I was asked if I would be interested in running for state rep. You can see what won out.
I grew up on a family farm and had many learning experiences. I return to the farm each November to enjoy our family reunion and hunting weekend. We call Independence, Missouri, home today, and I look forward to representing District 21 in the State House in 2025.
